Louisiana Society of Professional Surveyor offers Scholarships for Louisiana Geomatics College Students

The Louisiana Society of Professional Surveyors (LSPS) is offering ten $500 Scholarships to be awarded yearly to College Students residing in Louisiana and pursuing a career in Land Surveying. (This scholarship is not an automatic rollover) Applicants must be working towards the 30 hours required by the LAPELS board for licensure or toward a degree in a LAPELS acceptable Geomatics program. The scholarships will be awarded in one lump sum payment. Preference for scholarships will be given to applicants that have surveying experience.  The application deadline is January 1, 2016 and all scholarships will be awarded by February 12, 2016.
