Setting up a cell phone connection with integrated modem on GeoExplorer 6000

Answer

1. Insert SIM card into the GeoExplorer 6000
2. Make sure the SIM card has a data plan (AT&T or T-Mobile)
3. Make sure the phone is turned on under Settings/Connections Folder/Wireless Manager
4. If OFF, then click on the word Phone
5. click on the Windows Icon and select Settings
6.  Click on the Connections Folder Icon and choose the Connection Icon
7. Choose Automatically Configure Connection
8. The screen should show the Setup for your Data Provider.
9. If not, then go back to Step 2.
10. Click Next to continue
11. Click OK when Finished
