Input Waypoints in TerraSync Version 2.61 or earlier

Answer

1. Open TerraSync
2. Set up your coordinate system to match your input coordinates
   • Go to the Setup menu.
   • Choose the Coordinate System tab
   • Choose your inputs and click on OK
3. Create a Project
   • Go to the Data menu
   • Create Project
4. Create your Waypoints
   • Highlight point generic
   • Click on Options, then click on Log Later
   • Click on Create
     • Go to the Map menu
     • Select the Digitize tool
     • Click on Options/Enter Coordinates
       • Enter your coordinates.  If you don’t know an elevation, set it to zero
       • Click on OK
     • Go back to the Data menu
     • Fill out your comment information
     • Click on OK to store the waypoint
5. Repeat step 4 to input more waypoints
6. Navigate to the waypoint using the Map view
   • Go to the Map menu
   • Zoom to Full Extent (tool is at the bottom of the screen)
   • Click on the select tool
   • Select a waypoint
   • Click on Options/set Nav target
   • Navigate to the point using the map view
7. Navigate to the waypoint using the Navigate Menu
   • Go to the Map menu
   • Zoom to Full Extent (tool is at the bottom of the screen)
   • Click on the select tool
   • Select a waypoint
   • Click on Options/set Nav target
   • Go to the Navigate menu
   • Change your information fields if needed
