Trimble has announced a new recommended Microsoft® Windows 7 Professional Operating System update for the Yuma 2 rugged tablet computer. This OS update will improve the management of Windows 7 and updates several drivers. However, it will take the unit to a “factory reset” level so any installed material should be backed up for re-installation after the OS update.
***Yuma 2 units shipped since mid-April already contain Operating System version 1.0.0.7 and will not need the update.
