TRIMBLE ACCESS FOR WINDOWS: REQUIREMENTS

Trimble® Access™ can now be installed on select non-Trimble Windows® computers.

To ensure optimum performance of the Trimble Access software, the Trimble distributor is responsible for working with the customer to ensure that the Windows computer where the Trimble Access software will be installed meets these specifications and will function per the user’s requirements.

Minimum specifications

The computer must meet the following minimum specifications:

  • Operating system:
    • Windows 7
    • 4 GB RAM
    • 6 GHz dual core processor
  • Graphics resolution: 1024 x 600 on 7 inch display
  • 64 GB hard disk
  • WiFi or Ethernet for Internet access
  • USB port for external peripheral connections
  • Bluetooth® wireless technology

Notes

o Microsoft® Bluetooth drivers must be used. Other drivers (such as Toshiba) are not compatible with Trimble Access.

o Internal GPS requires NMEA support.

Trimble Access license for non-Trimble Windows computer

To run Trimble Access on a non-Trimble Windows computer, you must purchase a license for Trimble Access General Survey.

Tested computers

 The Motion F5t Tablet PC and the Panasonic Toughbook 19 have been tested with Trimble Access.
