05.07.15 | Chad Hicks

At the corner of Trimble and Highway 62 one of Arkansas’s largest electric co-op’s spanning multiple counties in Northwest Arkansas implements a Trimble GNSS Real Time Network with NetR9 Reference Receivers and the Trimble Pivot Platform. Led by CECC’s GIS Manger, Taylor Wynn, this new RTN provides its multiple field personnel the ability to achieve real time centimeter level accuracy across a fleet of multiple Trimble Mapping & GIS devices.  This new capability, in conjunction with the Trimble Positions Software Suite will dramatically increase daily field operations precision and overall company wide productivity with a seamless GIS workflow.

Using the latest generation of Trimble 360  receiver technology in combination with two Trimble MaxwellTM 6 chipsets, the Trimble NetR9 reference receiver offers an industry-leading 440 channels for unmatched GNSS multi-constellation tracking performance. With the world’s GNSS in constant development, the Trimble NetR9 reference receiver provides the operator with the assurance that it has the capability to grow with the industry, both today, and well into the future.

The Trimble Pivot Platform is the foundation for Infrastructure Apps. Various Apps support a wide and growing range of capabilities and may be combined to create complete solutions to the specific requirements of individual applications. Based on the latest server software technology, Trimble Pivot Platform provides a robust and scalable framework to deliver exceptional system performance, enable flexibility in configuration and reduce the cost of operations.
