How do I create a survey style and GNSS contact for Louisiana C4G VRS network?

Answer

 

 

 

  1. Start Trimble Access
  2. Click on “Settings”.
  3. Click on “Survey Styles.
  4. Select New at bottom on screen.
  5. Under style name, type: C4GNET
  6. Style type should be “GNSS”
  7. Select Accept.
  8. Select “Rover Options”, survey type should be “RTK”
  9. Change Broadcast Format to: “VRS(CMR)”
  10. Antenna settings: (Select the type of antenna you have)
  11. Accept Setting
  12. Select Rover Data Link
  13. Change type to: “Internet connection”
  14. Gnss Contact: click on  right arrow
  15. Select “NEW” to build a GNSS contact
  16. Name: Give you contact a unique name
  17. Network connection: click on arrow and select Auto (Wi-fi, Modem, ActiveSync)
  18. Use Ntrip should be checked
  19. Ntrip username: Provided by C4G 
  20. Ntrip password: Provided by C4G
  21. IP Address: RTN.LSU.EDU
  22. IP Port: 9000
  23. Select “Store” ( bottom right corner)
  24. Select “accept”
  25. Select “accept” again
  26. Select “Store”
