At the heart of the system is an all new low-power receiver built around Trimble's
latest generation Maxwell 4 GPS engine. It’s smaller, lighter, and more accurate than anything Trimble's ever offered and it comes standard with Trimble's new eRTK technology. With this new wide area system a single reference station it can handle an unlimited number of roving receivers over an area up to four times larger than conventional RTK.

The 5700 provides marine surveyors and engineers with Trimble’s eRTK advantage. The versatile 5700 GPS receiver is ideal for marine survey and construction applications.For an optimum solution with maximum performance and productivity, customers can combine the 5700 GPS receiver with Trimble’s HYDROPRO™ software.
