Trimble's 5700 Continuously Operating Reference Station (CORS) System provides reference station data for post processed surveys, real-time surveying, geodetic work and GIS applications.

The 5700 CORS consists of a 5700 high performance GPS & WAAS/EGNOS receiver, 30m (100ft) antenna cable and Trimble Reference Station (TRSTM) software. There is a choice of a Zephyr TM Geodetic antenna with Trimble Stealth TM Ground Plane or Trimble Choke Ring antenna.

The 5700 CORS systems are designed to be extremely easy to install and operate.

Extremely rugged GPS receiver with magnesium alloy housing, fully sealed, 100% humidity proof, buoyant in water, waterproof for total submersion in water to a depth of 1m (3.3ft) to IPX7 specifications.
New Trimble Maxwell-4 custom high performance GPS chip with wide band observations for uncorrelated observables and high frequency sampling. Carrier phase and Pseudo range measurement bandwidth 1Hz or greater.  
Receiver power consumption 2.5 Watts.  
WAAS/EGNOS tracking for real time differential positioning.  
Optional Internal Compact Flash storage on the receiver - log up to 2,750 hours of continuous L1/L2 data at 15 secs with 6 satellites.  
Low power consumption—up to 10 hours backup receiver operation on 2 internal miniature camcorder batteries  
Dual rate logging up to rates of 10 Hz
