MINISCAN is an expansion of the Odom MKII ECHOTRAC that allows for up to 8 transducers (single frequency) in the system, sounding simultaneously, to provide swath coverage in shallow water where a multi beam system is ineffective. The system will function as both a standard echo sounder or a multi-transducer swath system, and incorporates a standard ECHOTRAC MKII as the recording device. In addition to the MKII recorder, the system also includes a Transmit / Receive Unit (TRU), a Power Supply, Transducer Junction Box, and up to 8 discrete transducers. The transducers can be either boom or hull mounted.
